Those of us living in Arizona are used to getting our serotonin fix from spending the sunny summer day in the pool. With winter approaching, it may not be an option anymore unless your pool is heated. If you don’t have a heated pool, here are ways you can boost your mood this winter!
1.) Dress warm and go for a walk. You are getting the benefits from the sun and exercising. Both help to boost your mood.
2.) Create a workout routine and stick to it. Like I said, exercise helps with your mood and as an added bonus, your waistline!
3.) Smile and laugh. Call up a friend who always knows how to put a smile on your face. These are the best kinds of friends!
4.) Cuddle with your significant other or fur baby. Cuddling is the best and laziest way to make you feel better!
5.) Have a healthy diet. Fruits and vegetables are important for your mental health!
6.) Take a break from electronics. Forget about Facebook and Instagram for a moment and try doing something productive like cleaning. You’ll have a clear mind and a clean house!
Don’t spend all day hiding in your room. Take care of your mental health this winter!
