Most people don’t or can’t use their pool in the wintertime, but there are still ways you can have fun that doesn’t require swimming.
Decorate your pool for the holidays.
The pool can be just as festive as the rest of the house. It’s fun to put lights in and around your home, so why not include the pool? Adding lights around the pool and getting lights made for the pool that change color is also a great idea.
Pool games that don’t require getting wet.
Have the kids make paper boats and see who can float the longest without sinking.
Have a dry float-in movie.
I am sure you have heard of float in movies, Where you watch a moving projected onto a sheet while everyone floats in the pool. Well, they also sell projector screens that float in the water. Switch it up, stay on dry land and let your movie float.
Finding ways to use your pool in the wintertime is a fun way to make use of your pool when you normally wouldn’t.
