Hydration Is Important

We all know how hot it can be in Arizona, the typically dry quality of the air does nothing to make it better. For new comers or for Az natives that just need a reminder, this blog is for you: hydration and its importance, tips on keeping up with it!

1. Carry A Reusable Bottle

Carrying a reusable bottle to fill with water can save you a whole lot of time, money and space, seeing as how you don’t need to go looking for a plastic bottle, buying new ones all the time, and not having the clutter of empty plastic bottles. Even better for the environment!

2. Reminder Apps

There are a variety of apps that will remind you to drink water, they’re especially helpful for people who are always on the go! They let you set the reminders and you go from there, so that you don’t miss out on any water.

3. How Much Water You Need

According to Dr. Nessler “… you should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound you weigh, every day.” Which is also to say the 8 oz. statistic is out the window, water isn’t supposed to go by a one size fits all type of rule!

4. Jazz Up Your Water

If you want a nice kick to your water throughout the day, you can always add citruses, flavor packs, or berries! Cucumber, citruses, berries, melons, or even electrolyte packs can help with not only making the drink more refreshing but gives your tongue something to look forward to.
