Pool Owners, Don’t Skip Out on Maintenance!

If you live here in Phoenix, Arizona the likelihood of you having a pool is pretty high considering the outside temperatures are also pretty high. We all need to cool off somehow! Pool owners should know that regular maintenance is crucial in any season. Whether you’re swimming every day in the summer or taking a month break during our “winter”, don’t neglect maintenance.
Regular Pool Cleaning- During the cold months, sometimes the pool water appears to be clean because the cold restrains algae and bacteria growth. But just because it looks like clean and refreshing water, doesn’t mean the it actually is clean. Don’t skip out on cleaning your pool regularly!
Chlorine- To avoid algae and bacteria build up, ensure the pool has the proper chlorine levels. Add chlorine all year round when needed and routinely test the water.
pH Balance- When you check the chlorine levels, test the pH levels too! Verifying the pool has the correct pH balance, aids in preventing corrosion and helps to have healthy water.
